【摘要】:Thispracticedescribestheminimuminformationtobeprovidedbythesellertothebuyerorenduserrelatedtothewearing,care,andmaintenanceofchemicalprotectiveclothing.Adherencetothispracticeallowswritteninformationtobeprovidedwiththeprotectiveclothingtopurchasersbymeansoflabels,pamphlets,orotherdocuments.Noteveryelementofthispracticemaybeapplicabletoallchemicalprotectiveclothingcomponentsorconfigurations.Itistheseller''sresponsibilitytodeterminewhichportionsofthispractice,andthecorrespondingrequirements,areapplicabletotheirprotectiveclothingproducts.Forinformationalrequirementsthatarenotapplicablebecauseofthenatureoftheproductandintendeduse,theselleristoindicateanddescribethoseportionsorrequirementsthatarenotapplicable.Allinformationrelatedtowearing,decontamination,care,andmaintenanceshallbewritteninamannersothattheendusercanreadilyunderstandthedetails.Toemphasizeimportantlimitations,boldletteringandexplicitwarningterminology(forexample,signalwordssuchasDanger,Warning,andCaution(describedinANSIZ535.4))shallbeused.Wherepossible,pictogramsandillustrationsshallbeusedtoconveyspecificinstructions.Theuseofsymbols,suchasthoseprovidedinthecareoftextileproductsinGuideD5489,areappropriateforindicatingspecificcareproceduresusedincleaningprotectiveclothing.1.1Thispracticedescribestherecommendedminimuminformationtobeconveyedbythesellerstoendusersforthewearing,care,andmaintenanceofchemicalprotectiveclothing.1.1.1Thispracticedoesnotcoverspecificinstructionsforwhentouseprotectiveclothingordesignrequirements.1.1.2Thispracticedoesnotapplytoprotectiveclothingthatissolelyforprotectionagainstflameandthermalhazards.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3ThispracticerecommendstheminimuminformationneededtoproperlyimplementSections10and11ofPracticeF1461.
