【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheultravioletabsorptionofavarietyofpetroleumproducts.Itcoverstheabsorbanceofliquidsortheabsorptivityofliquidsandsolids,orboth,atwavelengthsintheregionfrom220to400nmofthespectrum.Theuseofthistestmethodimpliesthattheconditionsofmeasurement-wavelength,solvent(ifany),samplepathlength,andsampleconcentration-arespecifiedbyreferencetooneoftheexamplesoftheapplicationofthistestmethodintheannexesorbyastatementofotherconditionsofmeasurement.Examplesoftheapplicationofthistestmethodarethedeterminationoftheabsorbanceofwhitemineraloil,theabsorptivityofrefinedpetroleumwax,andtheabsorptivityofUSPpetrolatum.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinfahrenheit,feet,andinches,indicatedinparentheses,areforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see7.3.1,7.3.3,and13.4.
