【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodforpassengercar(asdefinedinISO3833)rear-windowdefrostingsystems,whenthesearefitted.Itdoesnotspecifyreferenceareasorlevelsofperformance,sinceatthetimeitwaspreparedtherewasinsufficientdataavailable.NOTE—Itmaybepossibletocarryouttestsofasimilarnatureonwindscreenandrear-windowsimultaneously.Thetestmethodisintendedtoapplytotypesofpower-drivenvehicleswhichdonotdifferfromoneanotherinrespectofthefollowingessentialfeatureswhichaffectdefrostingperformance:a)shape,sizeandsurfacecharacteristicsoftherear-window;b)characteristicsofeachsystemdesignatedbythevehiclemanufacturerascontributingtothedefrostingoftherear-window.
